The information platform european-movers.eu (hereinafter referred to as "platform") is aimed at Internet users who wish to obtain information on the internet about the services of moving companies and freight forwarders (hereinafter referred to as "users"). The users are generally commercial forwarding companies. The following terms of use apply to the use of this platform.

2. For the rights and obligations in connection with the publication of business contacts and services of moving companies and freight forwarders, please refer to the separate General Terms and Conditions. These terms of use do not apply in this relationship.

3. For the use of services found on the platform itself, the respective terms and conditions of the listed moving companies and freight forwarders apply.

§ 2 Character of the information on european-movers.eu

1. The information on the website european-movers.eu is not binding. First of all, they serve as a rough orientation of the existence of domestic and foreign moving companies and forwarding agencies as well as their contractual services of the listed moving companies and forwarding agencies. They therefore contribute to the decision making as to which moving company will be contacted at all.

2. The information presented does not constitute a consulting or mediation service on the part of Brandeis Verlag und Medien GmbH & Co. KG towards the user, but merely serves to simplify the user's decision, over which Brandeis Verlag und Medien GmbH & Co. KG in turn has no influence.

3. The presentation does not constitute a contractual relationship between the user and Brandeis Verlag und Medien GmbH & Co KG.

4. Furthermore, the information presented on european-movers.eu does not represent a binding offer by Brandeis Verlag und Medien GmbH & Co. KG for the respective moving companies or forwarding agents themselves.

5. Brandeis Verlag und Medien GmbH & Co KG does not itself carry out any removal transports or forwarding services and is also not involved in the provision of any other services.

6. Any contractual relationships are exclusively between the user and the moving companies or forwarding agents.

§ 3 Obligations of the user/rules of conduct

1. Users may use the platform for non-commercial purposes without permission and free of charge. Commercial use requires the express written consent of Brandeis Verlag und Medien GmbH & Co. KG.

2. The purposes for which this platform was provided are non-commercial.

3. Insofar as Brandeis Verlag und Medien GmbH & Co. KG gives users the opportunity to rate the service provided or to publish other content, the user undertakes not to post any content that is untrue, offensive, coercive, defamatory, glorifying violence and/or pornographic, racist, inciting to hatred, unconstitutional and/or otherwise punishable, violating applicable law, in particular the intellectual property rights of third parties, such as e.g. copyrights, labelling or trademark rights or ancillary copyrights or personal rights or links or similar information/references or are likely to impair the functioning of data processing systems.

4. If a user violates these conditions, Brandeis Verlag und Medien GmbH & Co. KG is entitled at its own discretion to remove content without notifying the user and in particular without stating reasons. Brandeis Verlag und Medien GmbH & Co. KG may exclude a user from future postings in the event of serious or repetitive violations.

5. The user himself is not allowed to copy, share or publish data, whether as part of his own website, a similar platform or in any other way, whether in physical or digital form.

§ 4 Liability of Brandeis Verlag und Medien GmbH & Co. KG

1. 2. The following applies to the contents of the platform:

The data and information published on the platform in the form of content and adverts by the moving companies and forwarding agents as well as the information and messages entered and disclosed by the users constitute third-party content for Brandeis Verlag und Medien GmbH & Co. KG within the meaning of § 8 para. 1 of the German Telemedia Act (TMG).

   2. The legal responsibility for the contents within the meaning of 4.2.1. and 4.2 lies solely with the person who has entered the contents into the database. There is no possibility of influencing the persons who have entered the contents or the contents. These persons are solely responsible for any infringements of copyrights and other protective rights.

3. For the contents of the linked websites of the moving companies and forwarding agents or other links 4.1. applies accordingly to the contents on the websites of the moving companies and forwarding agents, which can be reached from the site european-movers.eu. This also applies to any infringements based on the use of these links or websites.

4. Accordingly, Brandeis Verlag und Medien GmbH & Co. KG is not liable for infringements of the law through the contents of the links listed on european-movers.eu or the contents of forwarding agents and moving companies in the sense of 4.1. and 4.3.

6. Brandeis Verlag und Medien GmbH & Co KG shall not be liable for any damages arising from the contractual relationship between the user and the removal or forwarding company.

7. Furthermore, Brandeis Verlag und Medien GmbH & Co KG assumes no liability for the correctness and completeness of the information and declarations made by other users or for the identity and integrity of other users.

§ 5 Copyright

1. Brandeis Verlag und Medien GmbH & Co KG is the owner of the rights to the contents of the website and the platform as a database. Brandeis Verlag und Medien GmbH & Co. KG is exclusively entitled to all copyrights, trademark rights and other protective rights to the database work and its contents.

2. Beyond 3.5, the user is prohibited from extracting or reusing, duplicating, disseminating or perform publicly parts of the platform and database work.

§ 6. Right of modification, severability clause, choice of law and place of jurisdiction

1. Brandeis Verlag und Medien GmbH & Co. KG reserves the right to make modifications to the services of european-movers.eu including these terms of use, which are in force at the time.

2. If any provision of these terms shall be held to be invalid, void or for any reason unenforceable, that provision shall be deemed severable and shall not affect the validity and enforceability of any remaining provisions.

3. The law of the Federal Republic of Germany shall apply. Mandatory consumer protection regulations remain unaffected by sentence 1.

4. If the user is a merchant, the place of jurisdiction is Flörsheim am Main, Germany.
